Process Mining Lab

The Process Mining Lab (PML) at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Calabria, focuses on the design of innovative algorithmic solutions and tools for knowledge discovery from event log data. In particular, the group focuses on applying artificial intelligence and data science techniques to extract insights from process event logs for analyzing and improving business processes. The ultimate goal is to improve process efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction by uncovering bottlenecks, identifying process deviations, and making recommendations for improvement. The PML consists of experienced researchers and practitioners in the field of process management, data science, and artificial intelligence The research group collaborates with institutions and companies to apply the developed methods in real-world settings. Members of the group teach courses related to business process management, including Process Mining for graduated students.
